Dr Miriam Sullivan coordinates the Science Communication program at UWA. Over 1000 students a year pass through the science communication program, and Miriam coordinates units across the degree from first year all the way through to Masters level. Her research focuses on the professionalisation and pedagogy of science communication.

How does your research contribute to Seeing Science Differently?
Typically we view science communication as something that people can pick up and put down on a whim. However, it actually takes a great deal of time and effort to develop mastery in the discipline.
